Dr. So offers personalized herbal therapy using both Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulas and Western herbal supplements, carefully tailored to support your body's physiology (normal organ system functions) from the inside out, such as homeostasis (balance) of your hormones to regulate your body temperature, hunger, sleep, blood sugar, oxygen, cholesterol, etc. Each prescription is based on your constitution, current symptoms, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and, when available, lab work. Dr. So ensures all recommendations are safe, compatible with your current medications, and aligned with your overall treatment plan.

• New Patients: Book initial New Patient Session ($155.55) first.

• Acupuncture Patients: Separate Assessment not required; herbs are managed during your private acupuncture sessions.

Service Details:

• Fee: $103.80 (60 minutes)

• Requirement: Required every 8–12 weeks, upon completion of 4th bottle (to prepare 5th), or if internal patterns shift.

• Includes: Full intake, vitals, physical reassessment, Review of Organ Systems (ROS), and prescription update.

• Cost of Herbs: Typically $35–$60 per bottle (separate fee).

• Setting: In-Office Only.

Note on Herbal Refills: Standard 15–20 minute refill check-ins (tongue, pulse, vitals, photos) between Assessments are at no extra consultation cost. Not bookable online. Email Dr. So when 3–4 days of herbs remain to coordinate.

Pre-Visit Requirements: Appropriate update forms must be submitted prior to refill visits. Note: Forms are emailed to you once your refill request is received. Dermatology: Submit Dermatology Intake Form with skin photos. General: Submit Quick Check-In Form for symptoms and vitals.
